The short version​

This website is a static site. It sets no tracking cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds no third-party trackers. The Sensitive Data Scanner product runs entirely inside your own infrastructure - your Jira content and your findings never reach us.

This website​

Hosting​

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., a Microsoft company). As with any web server, GitHub processes technical connection data - IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer, and browser user agent - in order to deliver the page and for security purposes. We do not receive these logs and cannot link them to a person.

Cookies and tracking​

This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies, and uses no analytics of any kind. Your browser may store your theme (light/dark) and language preference locally on your device; this data never leaves your browser and is not transmitted to us.

Fonts and external resources​

No external font services, CDNs, or embedded third-party media are loaded. Everything the site needs is served from the site itself.

Documentation search runs entirely in your browser against an index downloaded with the page. Your search queries are not sent anywhere.

Contacting us​

If you e-mail us, we process the address and the content of your message to answer it. We keep such correspondence only as long as needed for the enquiry and any resulting business relationship, plus applicable statutory retention periods.

The Sensitive Data Scanner product​

This is the part that matters most, so it is stated plainly.

Sensitive Data Scanner is self-hosted software. You run the container in your own infrastructure, against your own Jira instance and your own database. In its normal operation:

  • No Jira content leaves your network. Not issues, not comments, not attachments, not findings, not metadata.
  • There is no phone-home. License validation is offline, performed locally against a public key compiled into the application.
  • There is no telemetry and no usage analytics. We receive nothing about your installation, your scans, or your findings.
  • No cloud AI or external analysis service is used. Detection and pattern discovery run locally.

arcsoft KLG is therefore not a processor of the personal data your scanner processes. You remain the sole controller of that data. Details of what the software stores and what it deliberately never stores are documented under Security and Data Handling.

Licensing​

To issue a license file we process the business contact details you provide - company name, contact person, e-mail address - for the purpose of performing the contract and meeting statutory bookkeeping obligations.

Your rights​

Subject to the applicable law, you have the right to request information about the personal data we hold about you, and to have it corrected, deleted, or its processing restricted. Write to info@arcsoft.ch.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority - in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Changes​

We may update this policy when the site or the product changes. The current version always applies and is published on this page.
