Jira Connection

Administration -> Jira Connection manages the connection to your Jira Data Center instance:

  • Jira base URL
  • Service account username
  • Service account credential
  • Connection test showing reachability, Jira version, and permissions status

The service account also defines the finding visibility boundary for every signed-in scanner user. Project access is not evaluated using each person's Jira account because the scanner does not impersonate users. Give the scanner's USER role only to people who may see every project the service account can browse.
