Suppressions
A suppression is a future-facing rule that hides a known-safe recurring match from the active findings list. It is stronger than marking a single finding as a false positive, which is a one-time review decision.
Suppressions are created from findings and can apply to a single item, or be scoped to a rule, a project, a field, or globally. The Suppressions page shows the full history, and its scope filter offers exactly those choices:
- Filters for status, scope, rule, and project
- Active and removed suppressions
- Reason, creator, creation time, removal time, remover, and removal reason
Removed suppressions stay visible, so hidden findings remain explainable. All changes are audited.
Everyone signed in can read this page. Creating and removing a suppression requires the ADMIN role - see Sign in.
